Responsibilities:

  • Update the pocket.watch brand guide to reflect the evolution of the company and illustrate the new marketing positioning.
  • Create the style guides for new pocket.watch YouTube creator partners and refresh existing partners’ guides. Style guides can include: logos, color pallets, typography, consumer product designs, retail planograms, packaging designs, etc.
  • Create a compelling series of presentations for executives to drive growth from various constituencies.
  • Work with other departments including content, production, revenue, talent management and C-level executives to prioritize and deliver on design needs.
  • Create new company sizzle reels.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management of all finance and accounting staff and operations.
  • Supervision and timely execution of all financial reporting, including but not limited to the monthly financial close process
  • Responsibility for the full range of accounting services, including Annual and monthly closings, AR/AP, GL, internal controls.
  • Lead the development of long-range business plans, revenue and expense budgets/forecasts

Director, Licensing and Retail Business Development

Job Brief
We’re looking for a superior self-starter who gets their hands dirty to work with our CRO to generate revenue and extend our brands through consumer products licensing. You are a master communicator ensuring that everyone, internally and externally, is on the same page and you will collaborate with all other partners to maximize business growth while being extremely sensitive to our other goals and priorities. Must be a strategic thinker with initiative, drive and strong interpersonal skills who has effective and persuasive presentation skills at executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and build a short-term and a long-term licensing sales strategy for pocket.watch creator brands and original IP within assigned categories, which takes into account both revenue goals as well as the mission objectives of the Institution. Present such strategy to the CRO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Develop a deep understanding of the pocket.watch brand, assets, and individual creator brands and original pocket.watch IP. With the Vice President, Partnerships, develop relationships with key creator partners needed in order to effectively align the sales strategy and efforts to creator brand goals.
  • Accountable for personal sales targets, as well as the revenue goals of the sales team, while minimizing both financial risks and risks to the pocket.watch brand and its creator partner brands.
  • Develop persuasive and targeted sales materials to pitch to potential licensees and retailers. Identify new sales channels and strategic partners to expand distribution and increase profitability. Solicit and secure business proposals from the candidates through the appropriate competitive procedures.
  • Negotiate favorable licensing agreements with licensees while operating under pocket.watch’s policies and procedures for revenue generating contracts. Ensure contracts are correctly prepared for approval by all internal stake holders and signature by CEO
    Drive an 18-24 month prioritization planning calendar of activity for key accounts, defining retail and digital pulse program timelines, 365 core business, theatrical tentpoles & promotional timelines.
  • Lead and manage the development and creation of compelling retail brand pitch decks leveraging franchise strategies, consumer insights and market trends that drive the pocket.watch brand, as well as internal project based presentations.
  • Analyze and evaluate retail and licensing partners’ marketing strategies and plans (including media, digital, events and messaging), providing direction to ensure approach and plans drive optimal results.
  • Responsible for implementing retail marketing that support the annual financial targets of the Sales & Retail Business Development team.
  • Work closely with Sales team to analyze strategic retail initiatives and go to market strategies that identify, evaluate and inform business growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervise editors, projects, and resource scheduling
  • Maintain clarity of information and facilitate channels of communication between the producers and editors
