Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the VP of Sales, respond to all incoming inquiries from brands and advertisers. Work to discern between viable opportunities and spam.
  • Work closely with creative team to design and update pitch materials and one-sheets on creators, media offerings, and pocket.watch in general.
  • Develop and maintain target prospect list and identify key sales opportunities.
  • Develop proposals to RFPs and RFIs effectively and efficiently.
  • Work to develop multi-tier programs that include branded content, media, and sponsorships.
  • Work closely with legal to draft agreements and work with clients to revise and redline. Must have a strong understanding of deal points, talent protections, and general best practices for branded content and media.
  • Work with Head of Partnerships in presenting brand integrations / sponsorships and licensing opportunities to creator partners for approval.
  • Work through budget, talent fees, and additional production considerations to model and ensure profit margin for all deals.
  • Act as a trusted and reliable partner to clients throughout deal process and off-cycle to build relationships and ensure renewed business.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and conferences presenting opportunities on behalf of pocket.watch, its brands and its creator partners (as needed)
  • Build relationships with and maintain regular contact with agencies (Advertising, Marketing & PR) ensuring pocket.watch and its creator partners are top of mind for brand campaigns, brand opportunities, and new business.
  • Work diligently to follow-up with teams internally and externally to keep projects moving forward and be able to provide frequent updates on the status of all deals to leadership.
  • Work closely with Director of Branded Content to ensure program scheduling, available inventory, and video timelines.
  • Regular budgeting in coordination with Director Sales Operations and Development revise all sales projections across lines of business which are direct responsibility including branded integrations / sponsorships, licensing and merchandising

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Experience managing sales process, establishing sales metrics and establishing performance benchmarks
  • Solid understanding of the media, marketing and advertising industries, particularly in the YouTube and OTT space.
  • Experience in crafting and designing your own presentation materials. Understanding strong messaging as well as basic design.

  • Maintain sample stockroom and inventory for all licensees, including archiving of samples.  Includes interfacing with licensee on current sample requirements.
  • Schedule release dates for promotional content to support various licensing programs and consult with branded integrations team when necessary. Monitor and revise calendar as necessary.
  • Provide talent with all necessary product information in order to execute production on promotional videos.
  • Request, collect, and organize catalogs, line lists, product photos, sell-in & sell-thru data, retail updates, marketing & merchandising plans, etc.
  • Coordinate materials for trade shows, advertising, events and line reviews.
  • Coordinate business reviews, line reviews and product development meetings with licensees on a regular basis and attend when necessary.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of content programming experience at a major digital entertainment brand, and wants to help create the future of kids entertainment across multiple OTT platforms, including linear and VOD. The Programming Manager will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external platform partners to develop and implement strategies that grow the pocket.watch brand and audience across screens. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate content programming strategy and operations across multiple distribution platforms.
  • Curate, stage, and schedule content for distribution, including uploading of assets and authoring of metadata per platform specifications and optimization best practices.

  • Partner with Studios team to prioritize content preparation and delivery.

Post-Production – Assistant Editor

Location: Culver City, CA

Pocket.watch, the entertainment headquarters kids have been waiting for, is currently hiring an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Editor. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently handle a large workload in a fast-paced environment and is very familiar with the post-production workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain media vault, including exquisite file organization, asset management, and ongoing backups
  • Ingest media from shoots and set up new projects
  • Provide support for editors, including project and asset preparation, assembly, asset relinking, technical troubleshooting
  • Identify and escalate missing assets and assist in achieving resolution
  • Maintain ongoing communication with production, partnerships, and other internal teams to aid in planning and delivery of projects
  • Perform occasional light editing work
  • Exhibit grace under pressure, great people skills, and utmost integrity

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in post-production as an assistant editor
  • Extremely efficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Premiere & Media Encoder, with familiarity and ability to navigate After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition
  • Understanding of codecs, raw video files, exporting, transcoding, and compression techniques
  • Must be speedy! Work in a high volume environment with tight deadlines
  • Organized, dependable, knowledgeable, and detail oriented
  • Eager to learn new skills, tools, and techniques
  • Familiarity with Slack, Asana, and Google Drive is a plus
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Equal parts accuracy and efficiency in accomplishing tasks
  • Able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Self-motivated and able to focus on priorities while handling multiple projects
